In her book she tells her story,&nbsp;how she&nbsp;disguised herself as a boy to earn a living for her family.<br>Under the Taliban, women were&nbsp;not allowed to work. When after the death of her brother and due to the illness of her father there is no male family member left, who could care for the familiy, she slips into the role of her brother. For years she lived in fear of being discovered.<br>Since she lives in Europe, where she wrote her book with the help of the Spanish journalist Agn\u00e8s Rotger, she has been campaigning for refugees, not only from Afghanistan.&nbsp;She is also a tireless advocate against the oppression of women and girls&nbsp;and has already received several awards for her commitment.<br><br><strong>We represent German and Dutch translation rights<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are happy to anounce that \u201cDas Geheimnis meines Turbans\u201c (orig. span.
